Our Mission

Community Healthcare Partners provides the highest quality of health care to our patients and the Lincoln, Omaha, and Fremont, and surrounding communities. Our team of nurse practitioners and physician assistants provide comprehensive care for patients in their own home. Our providers help patients navigate the health care system, including specialist, hospital care coordination, and follow-up care. 

Ashley Marreel, APRN

Ashley graduated with her BSN in 2009 from UNMC and with my DNP in 2015 from the University of Creighton. Ashley's passion is in primary care, and she has spent most of her APRN career in that field. She enjoys getting to know her patients, helping them navigate the healthcare system and empower them to be able to take care of themselves. Ashley is originally from Lincoln, NE. In her spare time Ashley enjoys hanging out with her daughter and their dog.

Ashley Synowicki, DNP

Ashley started her health care career by attending Methodist College where she earned her Bachelors of Science in Nursing. While working at Methodist Hospital, she went back to school for her Doctorate of Nursing Practice (Family Nurse Practitioner) from Creighton University. She comes to us with years of advanced practice knowledge, expertise, and skills. Ashley is extremely versed in all thing's health and wellness. She prides herself on being incredibly organized, precise, and emerges herself in the latest research to help better her practice.

When not working incredibly hard, you can usually find Ashley on a walk with her husband and puppy, spending time with her family, or watching the Minnesota Vikings. Ashley enjoys family practice medicine because she believes that whole self-wellness is the key to living a long, happy, healthy life.

Tami Oehler, APRN

Tami is originally from Lincoln, Nebraska and has been in healthcare for 23 years. She started as a LPN working her way up the ladder until 2019 when she graduated from Purdue University Global with her Master of Science Nursing-Family Practice.
For the past two years she has been working rural Northern and Southern Kentucky providing highrisk patient assessments, education and healthcare.

Tami has recently returned to Lincoln where she has been providing bedside nursing in the acute care setting as an Oncology nurse. Her experience has been in long-term, hospice, acute care and home health settings. She is currently working on getting Oncology and Chemotherapy certification.

Tami is the mother of 4, grandmother of 9, and fur mom of 2. She is a huge patient advocate and is excited to join CHP to provide health education, and autonomous high-quality patient-centered healthcare in the homes of her patients.

Lana Ekberg-Wood, FNP

Lana Wood is a native of Wakefield, Nebraska. After graduating from Wayne State College with a degree in Psychology, she attended UNMC and received her BSN going on to work inpatient Cardiology and in Home Health Care. In 2006, she enrolled at Clarkson College in Omaha where she earned her Master’s Degree in Nursing as a Family Nurse Practitioner. Lana has been a Nurse Practitioner in Omaha and Lincoln since 2009, specializing in Urgent Care, Home Health Care and Aesthetics. She is married and has one daughter.

Michelle Berry, Marketing Director Lincoln & Omaha

Michelle brings a wealth of experience and knowledge from the home healthcare and sales and marketing industries to our team. In 2008, she graduated from the University of Phoenix with a MBA. Michelle enjoys networking and meeting new people in order to spread the word about Community Healthcare Partners. 

In Michelle’s spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She also volunteers for a non-profit organization that is dear to her heart.

Nicki Hunt, Office Triage LPN

Nicki is our triage nurse at Community Healthcare Partners. She has been a Licensed Practical Nurse since 2013. She knew, from the beginning of her nursing career, a triage position was where she wanted to be as she is passionate about being a voice for patients and an advocate for them when in need. Her strong desire to show empathy and provide reassurance to patients is what gratifies her. She was born and raised in Lincoln, Ne. She has twin 17-year-old boys and is an avid animal lover. She has two rescue cats, Sophie and Winter, and enjoys spending time with family and vacationing together.
