Alisa Nollendorfs, MD
Dr. Alisa Nollendorfs serves as the Medical Director for Community Healthcare Partners, having joined the practice in 2021. A board-certified Family Medicine physician, Dr. Nollendorfs has been certified by the American Board of Family Medicine since July 2004. She earned her Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in May 2001.
Dr. Nollendorfs has an extensive background in family medicine, having served as faculty physician and mentor at the residency program at the Lincoln Family Medicine Program from 2010 to 2023. Prior to that, she served at Bryan Physicians Network in NE, Lincoln Family Medicine from 2006 to 2010, and at Downtown Physician Group from 2004 to 2006.
She is affiliated with several renowned medical institutions, including Bryan Medical Center and CHI. Currently practicing also at Lincoln Family Medical Group.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Nollendorfs enjoys spending quality time with her son and family. Dr. Nollendorfs enjoys art including painting
Benjamin Brennan, DO
Ben Brennan, DO, received his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Iowa State University. He earned his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from Des Moines University and completed his residency at The University of Kansas Health System. He joined Inpatient Physician Associates in 2024 and is excited to be working with a group of providers who are leading the way in Hospital Medicine. Dr. Brennan joined Community Healthcare Partners in 2025 in the Medical Director role working with our facility partners. Dr. Brennan is board certified in Internal Medicine.
Dr. Brennan grew up in Indianola, Iowa. He enjoys spending time with his dog, playing tennis and pickleball, board games, and traveling.

Cory Shield, DO
Dr. Cory Shield is an experienced internal medicine physician with over eight years of clinical experience. He grew up in Holdrege, Nebraska, and has always been committed to serving the community and making a meaningful impact in the field of healthcare.
Dr. Shield pursued his undergraduate studies at the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where he developed a strong foundation in the sciences and a passion for medicine. He then went on to earn his medical degree from the Kansas City University of Medicine and Biosciences, where he gained a comprehensive understanding of medical theory and patient care.
After medical school, Dr. Shield completed his residency in Internal Medicine at the CHI Internal Medicine Residency Program in Des Moines, Iowa. During his training, he developed a particular interest in general internal medicine and patient-centered care, skills he has honed over the years in his clinical practice.
Now with over eight years of experience, Dr. Shield is dedicated to providing high-quality care to his patients, with a focus on building long-term relationships and managing complex health conditions. He is committed to continuous learning and staying up to date with the latest advances in medicine.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Shield enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three boys. He has a passion for reading, golf, and running, activities that help him maintain balance and well-being in his personal life.

Mitch Hervert, DO
Mitchell Hervert, DO, is the Site Medical Director at Grand Island Regional Medical Center and a Medical Director for Community Healthcare Partners. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Hastings College in Nebraska, and earned his Doctor of Osteopathy from Kansas City University, College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, AR. Dr. Hervert is board certified in Internal Medicine. He joined IPA in 2020.
Dr. Hervert is from Ord, NE. He and his wife, Courtney, have four sons: Landon, Olyver, Maddox, and Maxton. He enjoys golfing, hunting, fishing, Husker sports, and spending time with his family and friends.
Noah Hammond, MD
Dr. Noah Hammond is a dedicated primary care physician and Medical Director at CHP, with a strong background in internal medicine. Originally from Nebraska City, Dr. Hammond earned his undergraduate degree in Biotechnology from the University of Nebraska Omaha. He then pursued his medical education at the University of Nebraska Medical Center, where he earned his Doctorate of Medicine and completed his residency in Internal Medicine.
In addition to his Medical Director in primary care role, Dr. Hammond provides inpatient care at Bryan Health in Lincoln, contributing his expertise to the care of hospitalized patients.
Outside of his medical practice, Dr. Hammond values spending time with his wife and five young children. The Hammond family are passionate supporters of the Nebraska Cornhuskers and enjoy attending games and supporting their team together.
Dr. Zach Egger, DO
Dr. Eggers is from Wood River, Nebraska. He married to his wife, Katie Thelen, who is a family physician In Holdrege, Nebraska. The two of them have two daughters: Rosie who is 6 and Pippa, who is 2. Both Dr. Eggers and his wife went to college in Lincoln, med school in Kansas City and residency in Lincoln, NE before moving to Holdrege, NE to practice family medicine. They both love to travel and go to Johnson Lake with our girls, to cruise on the boat and have pizza at sunset. They love to golf, Fish, and be outdoors.
Outside of the hospital she enjoys international travel, playing video games, running, reading sci fi and fantasy, exploring new restaurants with her fiancé, and hanging out with her dogs.
